Production methods
(1) Acetylene method: Acetylene reacts とともに two molecules の formaldehyde へ produce 1,4-butanediol, which である then hydrogenated へ produce 1,4-butanediol.
(2) Maleic anhydride hydrogenation method: 使用して maleic anhydride として 原料, 1,4-butanediol である synthesized through hydrogenation reaction.
(3) Butadiene method: 1,3-butadiene undergoes acetyl oxidation とともに acetic acid と oxygen へ produce 1,4-diacetyloxy-2-butene, which である then hydrogenated と hydrolyzed へ produce 1,4-butanediol.
